Banana Split

Have you watch Banana Split?? Launched in October 2007, “Banana Split” was originally conceptualized by Director Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz to be the female version of ’80s comedy hit “Goin Bananas.” It was topbilled by an all-star female cast. The show used its new and current format just last April where the additional cast members came in as part of its third season offering.

My favorite part of the show is NNNN, which feature Angelica Panganiban and Jayson Gainzas wherein Angelica spoofs Kris Aquino, while Jayson spoof Boy Abunda. I cant help but laugh at both of them, they are so good at empersonating both Kris and Boy. The two are just hilarious and have a good chemistry together. I hope their show last long, just like the gag show at GMA Bubble Gang.

INTERSECTION

"Intersection" is an adrenaline-fuelled animation that provides a hard-hitting look at human trafficking and sexual exploitation in Asia. The half-hour animé features the voices of Ely Buendia, Dingdong Dantes, Anne Curtis, Epi Quizon and Dolly Anne Carvajal. Intersection premiered Sunday on MTV Philippines but will re-air July 26 at 3 p.m.; July 29 at 5:30 p.m.; Aug. 1 at 9 p.m.; Aug. 3 at 10:30 p.m.; Aug. 13 at 8:30 p.m.

Intersection is MTV EXIT’s first animated film. It is produced by JM Animation, the award-winning Korean studio that created the visually haunting Wonderful Days. Intersection’s soundtrack features music by Radiohead of the UK and Thievery Corporation of the US . MTV EXIT will be releasing Intersection in English and Asian languages featuring the voices of well-known actors from throughout the region. MTV EXIT programming is produced rights-free and is free of charge for all broadcasters & organizations.
